E. L. WOODE. L. WOOD, born in Ontario County, New York, March 11, 1815; remained until 21 years old; then came and settled in Waynesfield, Monclova Township. Married Lydia Manning in 1843. Had two children: Mary, wife of J. W. Cressy, and John M. In politics is a Democrat. Is Township Clerk and holds several other offices.
