Notes: Girden Brown Yeoman was born on 13 February 1855 in Paterson, New Jersey, and died on 3 January 1944 in Winona, Logan County, Kansas. He was the son of Isaac Yeomans and Sarah Ann Bush. Paternal grandparents were Daniel Youmans and Mary Ann Van Blarcom. Maternal grandparents were Peter Samuel Bush and Bridget Louisa Christie. At the age of eight, Girden Yeoman moved with his parents to Avon, Illinois. In April of 1886 he went to Kansas and homesteaded in northwest Logan County.
On 30 November 1887 he married Amelia Anna Kammer in Wallace, Kansas. Mr. Yeoman farmed and raised cattle until 1908, when he was stricken with rheumatism and left crippled. In 1926 he moved to Winona, Kansas.
The Yeomans had seven children:
- REGINA ANNA YEOMAN, who married Alvin Riley.
- EMMA GERTRUDE YEOMAN
- CLARENCE GIRDEN YEOMAN, who married Rosa Suter Babst.
- NEALY OSCAR YEOMAN, who married Bernice Bass.
- EPHRAIM CHARLES YEOMAN, who married Mabel Kemp.
- IDA PAULINE YEOMAN, who married Shirley Hugh Standish.
- ISAAC LOUIS YEOMAN
