CHARLES A. POWERS was born in Perrysburg, Ohio, July 2, 1844. He married Miss Sarah Alcorn of Tontogany, Ohio, November 22, 1876, and they have two daughters and one son, viz: Carrie A., George A., and Lucy E. Mr. Powers has been engaged in the insurance business for a number of years, and he also cultivates a large farm in the vicinity of Perrysburg. He is a leading member of the Presbyterian Church, and at present time is a member of the School Board of his town. In politics he is a Republican.
