“UNCLE” JACK POLLARD, said to be 102 years of age, died at the home of his step son-in-law Sam Dean, Saturday night and was buried Sunday. It is reported that this old darky, had lost and regained his eyesight two times during his life-time and had lost his eyesight for the third time just prior to his death. He was familiarity known as “Uncle” Jack and had several white friends in Mineral Wells and Palo Pinto County.
