L. C. MANNING, a farmer of Monclova, was born in New York State, December 22, 1830, and came to Ohio with his father in 1832. Settled in Monclova in 1842, where he now resides. Married Martha Jane Waggoner, September 10, 1848. Had six children, three boys and three girls: Edwin, Manuel, Catherine, Jane, Mary and L. C., Jr. In politics is a Republican.
