DEATH OF MRS. GLIDEWELL.

Mrs. Lydia Glidewell, age 69, died at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon., May 12 at her home seven miles southwest of Mineral Wells, after a lingering illness. The funeral and burial service were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday. Rev. Tom Walker, pastor of the Church of Christ, of which Mrs. Glidewell was a member, had charge of the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Glidewell came to Mineral Wells over 30 years ago, when the present site consisted of only a few rambling wooden structures. They settled in what later became the Glidewell addition. In her death the community loses one of its oldest settlers.

Mrs. Glidewell is survived by four children: Charles, of Duval, Okla.; John of Mineral Wells; Mrs. Edwards, Ranger; and Mrs. Nagles of Elk City, Okla.

Beetham and Son had charge of her body.
