MARY ANN McNEES was born in Harrisburgh, Pennsylvania, August 10, 1806; her husband, John McNees, a native of the same place, was born July 8, 1802. They were married in 1823; moved to Maumee City, Ohio, in 1834, and settled in Springfield in 1857. They have four children: Hattie, William, David and James. Mr. McNees died in 1872.
