Mrs. John Terry biography

Mrs. Terry of Dora, Ala., is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion B. Ward (both deceased), and the granddaughter of the Daniel Wards and the John Martins (deceased). She became the wife of Mr. Terry in Bessemer, Ala., July 29, 1900. They have no children. She has two sisters who are business women.

Mrs. Terry is a member of the Methodist Church, Anne Hutchinson Study Club, WSCS, PTA, and Eastern Star. She has held the office of president of the WSCS, PTA, and treasurer of the Eastern Star. She attended high school and is now Lunch room manager of the High School. Her husband is retired. She has visited in Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Washington, Florida, North and South Carolina, Shreveport and New Orleans, La. Her hobbies are flowers and needle work.
