WILLIAM REDISH is a native of Pennsylvania, born March 20, 1817. Came to Monclova in the Fall of 1851 and settled where he now resides. Married Miss Charlotte Spencer, April 6, 1847. Miss Spencer was born in Germany, April 6, 1823. Had no children. In his early days worked at the harness trade; since 1852 has been a farmer. Has been Superviser [sic] and School Director a number of years. In politics is a Republican. Has been a member of the United Brethern Church for 25 years.
