CHARLES GROF [of Providence Township] was born in Germany, January 9, 1821; came to America in 1870, and settled in Lucas County. Married Caroline Sumsar in 1858; she was born in Germany, May 2, 1840. Their children are: Charles, Fred, Herman, Emeal, Henry, Eliza, Rosa and Sophia. Mr. Grof is a farmer. His Post Office address is Bailey, Ohio.
