Edith Nolen Weaver biography

Mrs. Edith Nolen Weaver of 80 Oaks Ave., Jacksonville, Ala., is the daughter of Dr. I. D. Nolen and Mrs. Elizabeth Hooper Nolen. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Nolen. She married Mr. Weaver June 3, 1917, in Alexander City. They have three daughters and one son living. She also has seven brothers and three sisters all married and own families.

Mrs. Weaver is a member of the Methodist Church, Progressive Study Club, Garden Club and two Bridge Clubs. She is a housewife and her husband is a merchant. She has held the office of president of the Study Club and secretary of the WSCS. She attended Jacksonville Normal School and other colleges. She has visited in Florida, California, Washington, DC, Kentucky, etc.
