JAMES B. McBRIDE, born in Lewiston, Pennsylvania, May 8, 1809; came to Lucas County in 1848, and settled in Richfield Township. He married, January 2, 1834, Ann Farley, who was born in Ireland. They have had eight children, two of whom are deceased, one a son, who died during the war at the age of 19. Mr. McBride has been Treasurer 10 years and has also been Supervisor and School Director.
